Ian Reid, A Strategic Leader in Commercial and Consumer Finance, with more than 30 years of industry experience at senior management levels in global organisations including Barclays, American Express and GE. Has created innovative and often award-winning strategies to turn around the performance of card issuing, payments, retail and retail credit operations. Strong leadership skills coupled with a proven ability to drive engagement have led to roles which span the Financial Sector, covering business growth, full P&L management, product development, strategy and portfolio expansion. A self-driven, problem solver with a readiness to challenge the status quo, he has developed new business channels, embraced digitised processes, forged co-brand propositions and pioneered market firsts.
