About Antonio Avitabile

Antonio Avitabile has been running Corporate Development and Venture Capital activities for Sony in EMEA for the last 15 years. In the current role Antonio led a number of M&A projects, majority and minority investments, divestments as well as acquihiring projects. Antonio’s team made more than 50 deals across Europe and Israel taking key responsibilities in the post investment. Antonio serves as board director and/or observer in several companies across EMEA. Prior to that Antonio started the image sensor business with mobile phone makers such as Nokia, Ericsson when phones were only used as a voice communication gadget. Antonio has a doctorate degree in radio frequency from Politecnico di Torino (summa cum laude) and an MBA from London Business School. Speaks fluently English, Italian and Spanish.
