Propeller Bonds Joins Forces with National Association of Professional Insurance Agents

Philadelphia-based insurtech startup, Propeller Inc., has announced its collaboration with the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) as a recommended platform for surety and fidelity bonds.

Aaron Steffey, CEO and Co-Founder of Propeller, expressed excitement about the partnership with PIA, which he considers the leading trade association for insurance agents and brokers. He anticipates continued growth under the leadership of Mike Becker and looks forward to a successful alliance, providing surety and fidelity bonding solutions to PIA members.

Propeller offers a white-labeled URL featuring 7,000 surety bond obligations, enabling agents and customers to obtain quotes, make payments, and receive their bonds within minutes. Furthermore, Propeller’s proprietary programs deliver underwriting expertise, making it a seamless addition to the surety departments of agents, brokers, and carriers who collaborate with the company.

PIA is a nationwide organization committed to supporting independent insurance agencies’ growth and development. Well-known as “the education association,” PIA provides an extensive range of educational and professional development resources through its network of state and regional affiliate associations.

This partnership aims to modernize and digitize the way PIA members sell surety bonds by collaborating with PIA affiliates. The alliance will be introduced to all PIA state members and their member agencies beginning in May 2023.

Robert Holt, VP of Products and Services at PIA, expressed enthusiasm about expanding member offerings and assisting agents in increasing competitive commissions and surety revenue. He is also looking forward to a fruitful partnership with Propeller.
