The Insurtech Magazine is back.

Insurtech funding has risen this year according to Gallagher Re research and it’s easy to see why.

With meaningful use cases for AI arising, there are any number of ways that the insurance industry could change for the better.

At the end of the day, so much of it is about data. Much of AI is about manipulating that data faster. We explore some of those developments in a brand new edition of the Insurtech Magazine, presented by FF News.

What you can expect from the new edition of the Insurtech Magazine

We’ve been putting together the Insurtech Magazine for a long time now and are always keen to see how this industry, often weighed down by legacy attitudes and infrastructure can get out of old habits and into a new era.

Well it seems like it’s really starting to happen. In this issue there are a number of experts who are at the cutting edge of innovation in this space.

Read the magazine to find out how voice-based risk assessment technology is changing the game for insurers with Jules Ehrlich from Clearspeed. In the interview he explains how insurers are using voice analytics to quickly and confidently assess risk across the policyholder lifecycle. All of this should enhance customer experience.

There’s also an insurance sector M&A run down from Florian Graillot of astoryaVC who shows how the myriad of mergers can actually bring positive change. There’s been a lot of activity in recent months, all laid out in this article.

In the issue there’s also Samuel Falmagne from insurtech Akur8 who themselves have had an acquisition this year. He tells us what AI will do to actuarial science and how legacy attitudes to innovation could finally be easing.

There’s also articles on many other topics including the problem of lost pensions, an exciting development in Saudi Arabian insurtech with Hakbah and more on the proliferation of data within insurance.
