Ray Oral Appointed COO of Tokio Marine Highland
Tokio Marine Highland, a leading property and casualty insurance underwriting company, today announced the appointment of veteran insurance leader Ray Oral to Chief Operations Officer, effective immediately.
Oral has more than 40 years of experience in insurance, banking and technology, holding senior leadership roles at CNA Insurance, ABN AMRO/LaSalle Bank, and Hiscox USA. As Chief Information Officer at CNA for nearly a decade, he developed a reputation for driving business transformation, digital innovation, and operational excellence. At Hiscox, he guided the company’s U.S. technology team as Chief Technology Officer.
“Ray’s proven expertise and strategic vision will be instrumental in advancing Tokio Marine Highland’s technology and business goals,” said Steve Prymas, CEO of Tokio Marine Highland. “I’m confident that Ray’s leadership style, which pairs deep technical acumen with clear business pragmatism, will positively contribute to our company culture and empower our teams to deliver results.”

Cytora, the digital risk processing platform, has announced a strategic partnership with Altitude Intelligence, a provider of specialized intelligence-as-a-service capabilities. This collaboration integrates Altitude Intelligence’s advanced geospatial (GEOINT) and multi-source fusion data directly into the Cytora platform, allowing commercial insurers to automatically enrich submissions with granular climate and location-based insights at the point of underwriting.
