David Schawe Joins Newfront to Lead the Ohio and Kentucky Markets
Newfront, the tech-driven insurance brokerage based in San Francisco, welcomes David Schawe to its rapidly expanding team as the Ohio and Kentucky Market Leader. Schawe, named a Top Producer by Insurance Business America, joins with nearly two decades of risk-management experience.
“David is an accomplished leader with proven results in partnering with clients for success,” said Newfront CEO and Co-Founder Spike Lipkin. “David’s leadership in the Ohio and Kentucky markets will enable us to deliver risk-management innovation in even more locations.”
For the past four years, Schawe served as Managing Director & Head of Office at Marsh and was previously Executive Vice President at Gallagher. Specializing in cost effectiveness, operations management, and business strategy, Schawe worked with growing companies of all sizes to drive financial impact via risk-management programs.
“I’m thrilled to plant the Newfront flag in Ohio and Kentucky and bring our differentiator of technology-empowered expertise to more clients,” said Schawe, who holds a degree from the University of Louisville and a designation as Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS).
Over the past year, Newfront has continued to expand nationally, opening locations in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Texas. The company introduced a new brand and digital presence in July amid its ongoing development and implementation of AI-enabled tools.
