About Yoann Lewkowitz

Magic Circle trained Corporate Finance and Regulatory Counsel working at the intersection of TradFi and DeFi, with a passion for Tech, Innovation & Sustainability and their applications to Investment and Finance (including Venture Capital & FinTech). Back at A&O, I took an active role in the firm’s pioneer Tech Incubator (with Cohorts 1 and 2), supporting start-ups at various stages and in relation to a wide range of topics, from Product Development, Commercial Contract to Corporate Finance advice. Since my transition in-house, I have worked at a FinTech scale-up setting up its funding programme in the run-up to IPO, I contributed to building an innovative crossover fund within a major institutional asset manager, advised on strategic projects at a tech enabled investment fund and currently lead the legal function at a prominent Blockchain Protection company. —— I recently became a Newton Venture fellow: the Newton Venture community is on a mission to level the playing field for people from typically overlooked backgrounds - ensuring that the next generation of venture investors represent the world we live in. Newton is a joint venture between London Business School, LocalGlobe VC and HSBC Innovation Banking.
