Rebecca Liu-Doyle joined Insight in 2016. Her focus areas include high-growth software, fintech, and consumer internet.
Previously, she spent time on Insight's Onsite team, where she worked closely with portfolio executives on growth strategy. Rebecca started her career as a management consultant in McKinsey & Company’s New York office, advising clients in the technology, financial services, and consumer goods industries. Her work at McKinsey spanned a number of topics, including M&A, product development, and frontline transformation.
Rebecca graduated summa cum laude from Yale University with a BA in Ethics, Politics, and Economics. She serves on the board of Greater NY and mentors for the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale. She grew up bouncing between states and has lived in Louisiana, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Utah. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys eating and shopping her way through the city, cycling, Marvel superhero movies, and art history. She is fluent in Chinese, and has a black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do.
Rebecca Liu-Doyle has helped deploy more than $750 million of capital across 13 deals during her time at Insight (first on Onsite, then on the investment team), four of which she sourced (Divvy, Quantum Metric, Prose and Staffbase) and seven of which she quarterbacked and now oversees in a board capacity. Outside the office, Liu-Doyle helps lead Women in Tech on-campus recruiting efforts and is an active member of All Raise.
