About Michael T. R. List

Michael List is both a founding partner at GreenSky Capital, a Toronto-based venture capital firm, and a founding partner at Ormston List Frawley LLP, where his practice focused on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, secured lending and general commercial advice. Michael has co-founded multiple businesses, including a multi-national computer hardware distributor, a Canadian junior resource company developing HBI assets and a currency exchange brokerage which was acquired two and a half years after its inception. Michael is also a co-founder of ABC Academy Inc., a company which he built with his wife, Wendy Arnold List, that employed 120+ staff and provided childcare to 500+ children. ABC Academy was sold in 2018 to a group who continue to lease back the properties from Michael and Wendy. Michael currently holds a variety of directorships and board observer positions with GreenSky portfolio companies, including with Cyclica Inc, an in silico drug development company, and AOMS Technologies, a fiber-optic sensors company that delivers multiple parameter measurements in harsh environments.
