Matthew Herzog is an experienced credit risk management professional, and is currently Head of Trade Credit for the Amnyta Group. He is experienced in developing and maintaining relationships with clients and brokers and assessing the political and credit risks for companies of all sizes operating domestically and overseas. Technical competencies include debt restructuring; development of underwriting policies, procedures and policy wordings, and data driven pricing methodologies. Prior to joining Amynta, Matthew served as Vice President and Underwriting Manager for QBE Trade Credit in North America, and was a trade credit underwriter at the Export-Import Bank in Washington, D.C. working with small and medium sized U.S. exporters. Before becoming an underwriter, he worked in accounting for a consumer products company and in program development for a non-profit international development organization. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Indiana University and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
