Kevin Hogan is Executive Vice President and CEO of AIG Life & Retirement and a member of the AIG Executive Leadership Team. He oversees AIG’s Individual Retirement, Group Retirement, Life Insurance and Institutional Markets businesses.
Kevin Hogan is an industry leader and innovator, committed to helping people achieve financial and retirement security. During his more than 35 years of experience, he has helped AIG and the retirement and life insurance industries evolve to address the economic and societal changes impacting Americans. He has also helped AIG advance the world’s body of knowledge on financial resilience and drive public awareness and engagement.
Under Kevin’s leadership, AIG Life & Retirement (AIG L&R) has reinforced AIG’s position as a partner and provider of choice, enhancing its digital capabilities to optimize operations and improve the customer experience, establishing its role as a top annuity provider in the U.S, and by advancing research and thought leadership on critical issues such as retirement readiness, an aging workforce, elder financial abuse, student debt, financial education and life insurance awareness.
Kevin Hogan started his career in 1984 at AIG in New York, and subsequently held management positions in Property Casualty in Chicago, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore and China, and in Life & Retirement in China, Taiwan and New York. From 2009 until rejoining AIG in 2013, he was CEO, Global Life for the Zurich Insurance Group. Prior to his current role, he served as CEO of AIG’s Consumer organization and senior officer for Japan. Kevin Hogan is a graduate of Dartmouth College. He currently serves on the boards of the Alliance for Lifetime Income, the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) and LL Global, the parent company of LIMRA and LOMA.
