Kaushik Gopal, A seasoned professional in the areas of electronic payments, financial services, and information technology, he brings significant international experience across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East & Africa. His diverse career has included roles in Strategy and M&A, Project Management, Business Development/Country Management, and more recently, Product Management. Kaushik Gopal is experience spans work at multinational firms such as Morgan Stanley (Consumer Banking), GE Money, First Data, and Mastercard. With a diverse academic background in both engineering and business administration at global institutions, combined with his work experience, he has developed the ability to lead and contribute effectively in high-pressure, high-visibility roles. Since 2012, Kaushik Gopal has been a member of Mastercard's regional Operating Committee (OpCo) in the Middle East & Africa, where he is responsible for driving growth in core switching, expanding the processing value chain, and developing strategy for Enterprise Safety & Security. He has actively contributed to the regional Market Development strategy, leading efforts in M&A, strategic alliance development, and creating new distribution channels for Mastercard's core business. Kaushik Gopal currently leads the Network and Switching strategy and oversees payment security platforms for Mastercard, managing a talented team of technology and business professionals.
