Experienced insurance and finance professional with more than 30 years in leadership and management positions in the public, private and non-profit sectors. Currently lead AXA XL's initiative to develop innovative non-payment insurance solutions for US Government Agencies (including Government Sponsored Enterprises), Export Credit and Multilateral Development Agencies and other non-bank financial institutions (including private equity, hedge funds and others) as part of the Global Political Risk, Credit & Bonds team. AXA XL is an industry leader in this business with global capabilities, local experts, significant scale and financial strength. Through underwriting hubs in Washington, New York, London, Paris, Madrid, Singapore, Sydney, Toronto and Bermuda and supported by risk and operations teams in Delhi and Bangalore, India, AXA XL's Global Political Risk, Credit & Bond team provides robust, tailored coverages and outstanding customer service. Previously founded and led XL Catlin's Multibuyer Trade Credit business. Prior to joining XL Catlin served as a senior executive at the Export-Import Bank of the United States, a practice leader at management consultancy DFI International (now Avascent Group), and a research associate at policy research institute the Center for Strategic & International Studies. Began career as an military officer with service in the U.S. and Europe and combat service in the Middle East.
