Fabian Wesemann is the Co-Founder and Group CFO of wefox group. wefox Group operates two businesses across Europe: Wefox is a platform that connects insurance companies to brokers that manage and consult their customers completely digital. Wefox currently features more than 300 insurance companies on the marketplace and serves more than 1'000 broker agents and 250.000 consumers. ONE: Fully digital European insurance company. The vision is to create a single protection for all risks in life in real time based on actually exposed risk. ONE is fully integrated in the wefox platform. wefox group has raised >€50m to date. This investment is the largest sum invested in an Insurtech company in Europe to date. Before wefox, Fabian founded EMPAUA Gmbh and worked as an investment banker for Deutsche Bank in London. Fabian Wesemann is a former investment banker with a strong track record as a founder and operator. Fabian oversees the financial and data strategy for wefox and leads the company’s strategic investment initiatives and major funding rounds, including equity fund raising, debt raise and M&A activities. Fabian has raised more than €1bn to date, completed several M&A transactions and is a strong advocate of data-driven decision making.
