About Alper Kilic

Alper Kilic was appointed as the Global Head of Project and Export Finance (“PEF”) at Standard Chartered Bank (“SC”) in May 2020. The PEF business is one of the key pillars of SC’s Corporate Finance franchise globally with teams and operations from 9 hubs across the continents. It provides financial advisory and financing solutions on a limited or non-recourse basis as well as Export Credit Agency-backed financing to SC’s clients across different geographies and industries. Under Alper’s leadership, the PEF business is well-positioned in delivering SC’s commitment of providing project financing services for $40 billion of infrastructure projects that promote sustainable development by December 2024. Prior to his current role, Alper Kilic held various leadership roles in SC including the Regional Head of Corporate Finance, Europe and Regional Head of Loan Syndications, Africa.
