Percayso Inform Signs Exclusive Agreement With Stolen Vehicle Recovery Provider Tracker
Percayso Inform has partnered with Tracker, a leading provider of stolen vehicle recovery technology.
Tracker’s patented devices are the only solution resistant to GPS and GSM signal jamming, which is often used by criminals to prevent vehicles from being recovered. Its unique VHF (very high frequency) technology means stolen cars, motorbikes and vans can be located anywhere, even if they are hidden underground, in a garage or shipping container.
It is the only stolen vehicle recovery provider to have a formal agreement with all UK police forces, which further contributes to its high recovery rates.
Tracker delivers a 95% recovery rate with 80% of vehicles recovered within the first 24 hours. Some £2m million worth of stolen vehicles fitted with Tracker devices are recovered each month.
The agreement with Percayso, the data enrichment specialist, adds another unique hosted dataset that can be searched at point of quote (POQ) or as part of its Policy Intelligence service.
In addition, enhancements will be made to Percayso’s Vehicle Intelligence platform, Companion, allowing FNOL claims handlers to ensure prompt notification of theft to Tracker via API as an additional tracking service, thus increasing further still the chances of vehicle recovery.
Percayso Commercial Director David Kelly said: “By becoming the first data enrichment provider to host Tracker’s data exclusively on our intelligence hub, we’re giving our clients another edge.
“Providing ever more detailed information about the vehicles they’re quoting on facilitates sharper pricing decisions, better customer acquisition and improved loss ratios. It’s also another unique offering for our policy Intelligence service”
Tracker Sales Director Luke Anyon said: “Not all tracking devices are created equal, and we know that drivers with Tracker solutions are far more likely to have a stolen vehicle recovered. Working with Percayso, and by extension more insurance providers, means that drivers who invest in leading recovery support may now have this risk mitigation recognised with lower premiums.”
