Erie Regional Chamber Announces 2025 FIRE Accelerator Cohort to Foster Innovation in the U.S. Insurance Sector

The Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership (ERCGP) proudly announced the 2025 cohort of the FIRE Accelerator, presented in partnership with Erie Insurance and ValueMomentum. This year’s program welcomes three exciting startups: Solvrays, InsureScope, and Obai.

The 2025 cohort of the FIRE Accelerator supports founders building practical Tools, AI, and software that modernizes the U.S. insurance industry. The program prioritizes solutions that: optimize the insurance value chain, enhance data analytics and insights, improve operational efficiency through automation and digitization, strengthen customer–agent–insurer relationships, and enable talent optimization across teams.

“Each of these companies is solving a real problem for the insurance industry, and they’re doing it with pragmatic applications of advanced technology,” said Jordan Fuller, director of entrepreneurship at The Erie Regional Chamber. “With mentors from Erie Insurance and ValueMomentum, and the engagement of our business community, the 2025 cohort will be positioned to grow faster because of their time with us.”

Meet The 2025 Cohort Companies:

  • Solvrays: An artificial intelligence (AI) workflow platform that layers automation over existing insurance systems to connect people, systems, and data without replacing core platforms; focuses on reducing manual effort and compressing cycle times.
  • InsureScope: InsureScope is an AI-powered tool designed for insurance professionals to streamline and expedite policy review, compare competing policies, identify coverage gaps, sell insurance and magnify your expertise.
  • Obai: Claimant-first workflow for catastrophic auto claims (hail/wind) that guides policyholders through high-quality photo capture and uses computer vision to support desk review, reducing cycle time and reinspection.

Program Benefits & Industry Support

Each selected company receives capital, along with expert-led workshops, access to mentors, and curated introductions to potential partners, customers, and investors. Mentors from Erie Insurance and ValueMomentum provide hands-on guidance, and ERCGP’s network of members offers engagement opportunities, product feedback, and regional connections.

“Erie Insurance is proud to partner with the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership and ValueMomentum to support this year’s FIRE Accelerator cohort,” said Keith Kennedy, senior vice president for Next Level Innovation at Erie Insurance. “FIRE represents the power of collaboration – where startups, industry leaders, and community organizations come together to spark meaningful innovation. Congratulations to Solvrays, InsureScope and Obai for being chosen to participate in the program.”

“This is our second year partnering with the Erie Regional Chamber and Erie Insurance to support this year’s FIRE Accelerator cohort,” said Jim Carlucci, President (Retired) of ValueMomentum.

“This program is reflective of ValueMomentum’s broader commitment to the global P&C industry, and to drive innovation, empower entrepreneurs to grow and flourish, and provide meaningful impact. This year’s cohort winners deliver in all these areas. Congratulations to Solvrays, InsureScope, and Obai!”
